These chocolate muffins are the perfect grab and go breakfast and filling snack. With their delicious sweet chocolate flavour and fluffy soft texture, you wouldn’t guess they are dairy, gluten and refined sugar free.
Even if you don’t class yourself as a baker you will be able to whip these up like a pro, as they are super simple to make and 15 minutes to bake. Not only is this recipe a great snack, breakfast and dessert but also the perfect pre or post workout snack for any exercise. They basically can be eaten anytime of day, anywhere, just pop some in your lunchbox or handbag. As they are packed full with complex carbohydrates, protein and fats, you could say they are a well balanced meal.
Each bite is soft, fluffy and chocolatey, you will have to be strong to stop at just one. As this recipe serves 8, it could be a good opportunity to get some friends round, pop the kettle on and have a good catch up. To add a delicious topping you could simply use a tsp of almond butter, your favourite chocolate, or get creative and add what you fancy; peanut butter and jam perhaps?
